Horses

Horse is Matt Hill’s sculptural interpretation of one of the most powerful and expressive animals in the landscape.

Horses carry a rare combination of strength, intelligence and grace. Their muscle, posture, mane and movement all speak to character, making them a natural subject for sculptural work.

Each horse is shaped to capture more than physical form. Some stand alert, watching the distance. Others rest in the sun, graze quietly or hold the stillness of a working animal at ease. Constructed in Corten steel, Horse is a tribute to an animal that has long lived beside people — proud, intelligent and quietly magnificent.
