Horses

Horse is Matt Hill Projects' sculptural interpretation of one of the most powerful and expressive animals in the landscape.

Horses carry a rare combination of strength, intelligence and grace. Their muscle, posture, mane and movement all speak to character, making them a natural subject for sculptural work.

Fabricated life-size in Corten steel, each Horse is assembled from your own photos - capturing more than physical form, but the individual character of your own horse. Some stand alert, watching the distance. Others rest in the sun, graze quietly or hold the stillness of a working animal at ease. Horse is a tribute to an animal that has long lived beside people - proud, intelligent and quietly magnificent.
