Ellipses is a sculptural work built around symmetry, light and the experience of space.
Formed from seven steel segments, each arm catches light across its surface, shifting in tone and presence throughout the day. As the sun moves, the work reveals edges, shadows and subtle variations in form. At night, the inner segments glow from within while the outer form settles into shadow, creating a warm, lantern-like presence.
The work invites people to move around it. Each angle reveals a different balance of curve, mass, shadow and light. Strong in material and refined in form, Ellipses feel alive through light, shadow and perspective.
