The Kangaroo Collection is Matt Hill Projects’ sculptural interpretation of one of Australia’s most familiar animals - recognisable in form, but shaped through bold geometry, stillness and character. Fabricated in Corten steel, each kangaroo is individually constructed and develops its own natural patina over time.
The collection includes Roofus standing alert, the Grazing Kangaroo feeding calmly, and Jack stretched out at rest. Available in several sizes, each sculpture can stand alone or form part of a mob, creating a natural sense of movement and connection across a garden or larger landscape.
Jack takes his name from the great Australian actor and larrikin Jack Thompson. His relaxed pose carries a cheeky nod to Thompson’s famous 1970s Cosmopolitan photograph.
